With the Fox series reimagining of the classic lifeguard drama in production, The Hollywood Reporter rounds up the influencer-heavy cast heading to Venice Beach.

Red bathing suits. Slow-motion running. Saving lives. All are returning for Baywatch.
A reboot of the original lifeguard drama, which ran for 11 seasons starting in 1989 and an ensemble including David Hasselhoff, Pamela Anderson, Carmen Electra and Jason Momoa, is headed to Fox. The 12-episode series is slated to premiere in January 2027.
With production underway in Venice Beach and on the Fox studio lot in Century City, The Hollywood Reporter is rounding up the names audiences can expect to see in this new generation of Baywatch. Matt Nix (Burn Notice, True Lies) serves as showrunner and executive producer alongside McG (The O.C., Charlie’s Angels), Michael Berk, Greg Bonann, Doug Schwartz, Dante Di Loreto and Mike Horowitz. McG will also direct the first episode. Stephen Amell
Image Credit: Gareth Cattermole/Getty Images Stephen Amell was the first official cast member announced to join Baywatch. He will play the lead role of Hobie Buchannon, son of Mitch Buchannon (Hasselhoff), who is a Baywatch Captain.
Amell previously appeared in Suits LA, Arrow, Heels, The Flash, The Borderline, Code 8 and Legends of Tomorrow.
He is represented by UTA, Leverage Management and Sloane, Offer, Weber & Dern.

Jessica Belkin

Image Credit: Daniel Poplawsky Jessica Belkin portrays Charlie Vale, the biological daughter of Amell’s Hobie Buchannon, in a series regular role. Charlie leaves her complicated home life in Texas and shows up on her father’s doorstep with the hope of becoming a Baywatch lifeguard.
Belkin’s credits include The Hunting Wives, Bad Day and Last Straw. The actress will also appear in the upcoming Legally Blonde prequel series Elle.
She is represented by Paradigm, Brillstein Entertainment Partners, Schuller Talent Mgmt and Stewart Brookman.

Hassie Harrison

Image Credit: JC Olivera/Variety/Getty Images Hassie Harrison plays series regular Nat, a former foster kid turned Olympic athlete who has high standards when it comes to lifeguarding. She is Hobie’s closest friend and loyal right hand.
She appeared in Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone, as well as in Hart of Dixie, The Iron Orchard, Tacoma FD and Dangerous Animals.
Harrison is repped by Gersh, Range Media Partners, and Johnson Shapiro Slewett & Kole.

Noah Beck

Image Credit: Jerod Harris/Getty Images Noah Beck is a series regular playing Luke, a rookie lifeguard, who is the youngest in a family of firefighters who prefers the beach over the firehouse. He looks up to Amell’s Hobie as a mentor.
Beck began his career as a social media influencer before transitioning into acting. He is known for his role in Tubi’s YA romance franchise Sidelined. James Van Der Beek played Beck’s father in Sidelined 2, which was his final onscreen film role.
He is repped by UTA, Underscore Talent, and Goodman, Genow, Schenkman.

Shay Mitchell

Image Credit: The Collective You Shay Mitchell joined the cast as a series regular. She plays Trina, a former lawyer who left a top-tier firm to become a full-time lifeguard.
The actress and entrepreneur starred as Emily Fields on all seven seasons of Pretty Little Liars. Mitchell has also appeared in Netflix’s You and Hulu’s Dollface, as well as in film credits for Mother’s Day, Dreamland and Something from Tiffany’s. She founded and serves as the chief creative officer of the travel and lifestyle brand Béis.
Mitchell is represented by Linden Entertainment, WME and Grubman Shire Meiselas & Sacks.
