Pieter Mulier left Azzedine‘s headquarters on rue de Moussy for a fashion show to inaugurating a new address at 15 Faubourg, at the crossroads of excellence where Cartier, Lanvin and Hermès meet. It is here that a new Alaïa story will be born, and it was in this space that was still under construction that his collection was presented. A spectacular show presented to a star-studded front row including: Naomi Campbell, Farida Khelfa, Matthieu Blazy and Pierpaolo Piccioli.
Here are 6 things to remember from the Alaïa winter spring 2023 show
- Variations on the leotard and bodysuit were sometimes mysterious in black, and sometimes in colorful variations. Special mention to the first look, a black monochrome ensemble with a trompe l’oeil piercing pendant on the breast, and another one entirely embroidered with multicolored mirrors, reveling of the body in all its detail.
