A Pittsburgh-based transit agency resolved a lawsuit alleging its ban on political messages on Covid-19 face masks worn on the job violated workers’ constitutional rights.
The US District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania on Thursday ordered the lawsuit by Amalgamated Transit Union Local 85 and three employees against the Allegheny County Port Authority marked closed. That came after the parties on Wednesday filed a stipulation of dismissal with the court.
The plaintiffs and defendant “hereby stipulate to the dismissal with prejudice of all claims, causes of action, and parties,” the filing said.
