The OC Fair is nearing the final leg of its 23-day run, but the daily calendar is packed with entertainment through the last night.
There are the big shows at the Pacific Amphitheatre and The Hangar that require a costlier ticket, but the fair also features bands and comedy free with the price of general admission. A quick note: Daily attendance at the fair is capped at 45,000 to allow for more spacing, so tickets must be purchased online in advance and several dates have sold out.
Dueling piano players take the Plaza Stage several times nightly, followed by the always popular and funny hypnotist Mark Yuzuik.
The Meadows Stage and Promenade Stage have musicians and bands playing each evening and throughout the day local dance groups, bands and other entertainers are featured around the fairgrounds.
The fair ends its run on Aug. 15; it is closed Monday and Tuesday. For more information, visit ocfair.com.
