Editor’s Note: Old Fashioned Fashion Show Spruces Up Early Spring at the LTS
The weather was a bit on the chilly side, especially for an outdoor fashion show. The wind was a bit nippy, especially for the models dressed in their Spring best but not equipped for a wintery breeze. The temps tried their best to put a crimp in the annual fashion show at The Louisville Thoroughbred Society this past Sunday.
But one thing was for sure.
The sun was going to shine bright on this ole’ Kentucky home show, no matter what the calendar or the thermometer had to say.
The garments were going to shine even brighter on these beautiful people, who were ready to strut their Kentucky Derby best in pure style.
And, the show was definitely going to go on.
On Sunday, the LTS hosted its’ second annual Kentucky Derby fashion show.
The models were ready. The runway was ready. The crowd was ready. And, the good times were ready to roll, too.
Here’s a few looks at some of the festivities.
But there is one thing that the camera couldn’t emulate or capture in its’ entirety:
The fun that was had by all.
Look at all the looks. Tune in the times. Notice the smiles. Make sure to plan to be in attendance in the future. It is worth the trip, no matter the temps.
