Supercell’s multiplayer shooter will be turning 5 years old later this year and the 10th season of this mobile game is now underway. Fang is this season’s chromatic brawler, and like some new brawlers, he has one gadget as well as a one-star power for the time being. With a chromatic brawler released every season, and other types of brawlers released throughout the year, many are missing a second gadget.
In the past, the Brawl Stars community has voted for the next brawler they want to see receive a second gadget. On other occasions, additional gadgets and star powers have been released with updates. However, there are a few brawlers that have been in the game for a while and still haven’t received another gadget.
10 Surge Could Technically Be The Next Chromatic Brawler In Line For Another Gadget
Surge has yet to receive a second gadget despite being in the game since July 2020. The brawler from the previous season, Gale, only received a second gadget in summer 2021. With this in mind, Surge could technically be the next chromatic brawler in line for an additional gadget.
Surge’s current gadget, “Power Surge,” allows him to teleport through walls and sneak up on the enemy. This surprising gadget can be very effective against unsuspecting brawlers. This offensive ability may be the reason why Supercell has decided to hold back on Surge’s second gadget for now.
9 Grom Is Still Considered New To The Game
Players were introduced to Grom in December 2021. This epic brawler is still considered very new to the game, which is why he only has one gadget currently available. It could be that Supercell hasn’t yet created another gadget for Grom or they are letting gamers become more familiar with this brawler before releasing his second.
His current gadget leaves behind a watchtower after using his super attack. This allows Grom and his teammates to temporarily see what’s lurking in nearby bushes and avoid surprise attacks. His next gadget is likely to give players a different advantage rather than another ability that reveals the enemy’s locations.
8 Jacky Hasn’t Received Her Second Gadget
After almost 2 years in the game, Jacky hasn’t received her second gadget. For many players, she is usually found in brawl boxes early on in the game. Because of this, most Brawl Stars enthusiasts who have unlocked Jacky are surprised that her second gadget is still missing.
Her current gadget, Pneumatic Booster, increases her movement speed for 3 seconds. Depending on which star power players have equipped, Jacky will also take less damage from enemies or automatically fight back with a weak counterattack. When her long-awaited second gadget finally comes out, it may give her a different ability. Jacky doesn’t have any long-range attacks and her second gadget could make her a threat from a distance.
7 Meg Is The Latest Legendary Brawler
The latest legendary brawler in Brawl Stars is Meg who was added to the game in August 2021. To unlock Meg, players must be willing to spend lots of gems or be very lucky when opening brawl boxes. She is currently one of the rarest brawlers in the game and one of the most dangerous.
When Meg jumps into her Mecha suit, she can wreak havoc on nearby foes. This powerful super attack is completely unique and another gadget would certainly make it more difficult to defeat this already strong brawler. To make the game fairer, her second gadget may be on the way when more players have unlocked Meg.
6 Squeak Second Deserves A Unique Gadget
The newest mythic brawler in the game is Squeak, one of Colonel Ruff’s accidental creations. Squeak is a damage dealer who appeared in Brawl Stars last year during season 6. The only gadget currently available for Squeak is Windup, which lets players throw a basic attack twice the distance than normal.
Squeak’s star power, Chain Reaction, increases the damage dealt, but a unique gadget that increases the next attack’s blast radius could be a great alternative. Squeak’s second gadget could also be worth the wait if it stuns enemies or prevents them from reloading for a moment.
5 Griff’s Second Gadget Could Focus On Healing
Griff is a fighter who can cause damage at close range and from a distance. He made his debut in July last year and could be unlocked after completing the Griff challenge. For unsuccessful players, Griff was commonly found in brawl boxes soon after.
His current gadget, Piggy Bank, is a delayed explosion that causes damage to enemies and also destroys obstacles. With an already versatile basic and super attack, Griff’s second gadget could focus on healing himself or his teammates, rather than dealing more damage. Griff is a popular choice for many game modes and Supercell should consider another gadget that keeps things fair for everyone.
4 Amber Is One Of The Most Sought Out Brawlers
One of the most sought out brawlers in the game is Amber. She is a fire-wielding brawler with impressive offensive stats. Her unique targeting system will automatically shoot fire while players aim with her basic attack.
With her super, she uses fire fluid to set the ground on fire causing impact damage and burning damage for a few seconds. Amber’s current gadget increases her speed for 3 seconds whilst dropping more lethal fire fluid behind her. With almost 18 months without a second gadget, gamers could be waiting longer while Supercell decides on another ability that meets the aesthetics of this dangerous character.
3 Byron’s Next Gadget Should Stay With The Mystical Theme
Byron, a mythic brawler, can damage enemies and heal teammates with his basic attack, and players will continue to feel these effects for a few seconds after getting hit. Along with this, his long-range and fast reload speed makes Byron a very adaptable brawler. However, after more than a year, players are still waiting for Byron’s next gadget.
His current gadget, Shot In The Arm, comes in handy when Byron needs to take a moment to heal himself. Malaise, Byron’s star power, will also temporarily prevent enemies caught in his super attack from fully benefiting from any source of healing. Byron has some weird but useful abilities and his next gadget should stay with the mystical theme.
2 Emz Is The Only Trophy Road Brawler Without A Second Gadget
Emz is available to players after obtaining 8000 trophies and she is the only trophy road brawler without a second gadget. She was introduced to Brawl Stars in October 2019 and can be quite lethal with her toxic hair spray attack. Her only gadget is Friendzoner which pushes back enemies into the breadth of her basic attack.
Her super attack already slows down enemies making them easier to target. With a star power enabled, enemies within her super’s radius will either become more susceptible to damage or allow Emz to recover health. When her second gadget is finally released, it should have a completely different ability. For example, it could temporarily increase her speed, create a barrier, or stun her enemies after being hit with too much hair spray.
1 Bibi Is The Oldest Brawler In The Game Without A Second Gadget
The oldest brawler in the game without a second gadget is the epic brawler Bibi. This close-range brawler and her baseball bat came to Brawl Stars in May 2019 and gamers have since been waiting for her next gadget.
Because she has a short-range basic attack, she needs to get up close and personal with her enemies and her current gadget helps with this. Her first gadget, Vitamin Booster, replenishes 600 health points per second for 4 seconds. Bibi would also benefit from an additional gadget that gives her a momentary faster reload speed. Her second gadget could even create clones of Bibi to confuse enemies, similar to Leon’s gadget, Clone Projector.
