World Cup Final Fashion 2026: Every Celebrity Look

Spain beat Argentina 1-0 in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final at New York New Jersey Stadium on Sunday, but the match was only one of the things people were watching. The celebrity presence at the tournament’s closing weekend transformed what is already the most-watched sporting event in the world into a full-scale cultural moment, with luxury suites occupied by some of the most photographed people on the planet and the stadium cameras doing as much work as the match cameras. The 2026 World Cup Final was the kind of event that functions as its own cultural institution; one where the crowd is as much a part of the spectacle as anything happening on the pitch.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z were in the VIP area. Rihanna and A$AP Rocky were in the suites alongside Jalen Brunson and his wife. Serena Williams, LeBron James, Tom Brady, Kevin Hart and Eniko Hart, Matt Damon and Luciana Barroso, Winnie Harlow, Hailey Bieber, Pharrell Williams, the Beckhams, Dua Lipa and Callum Turner, and Kylie Jenner were among the crowd.

Timothée Chalamet carried the official match ball onto the pitch. Tom Cruise gave a pre-match speech on global unity. The fashion that arrived with all of them told its own story, and the dress code for most of the celebrity contingent was a studied neutrality, no team colors, no overt alignment, just the particular kind of effortless composure that communicates you belong at the biggest events in the worl,d regardless of who is playing. The exceptions were notable precisely because they were exceptions. Beyoncé wore the most deliberately considered outfit in the stadium. Rihanna wore the most personally legible one.

The Looks That Defined the Day

Beyoncé arrived in a capri-length sheer white lace catsuit worn under an oversized cropped trench-style coat, with white heels and a white top-handle bag. The all-white composition in a stadium full of color-coded fan gear communicated exactly the kind of conscious separation from the match that defines how the most famous people in the world attend public events without appearing to try to attend public events. Jay-Z wore a blue-and-white striped shirt with a black cap. Together, they were the most photographed couple in the suites, which is the position they occupy at almost every event they choose to attend and which they continue to occupy without apparent effort.

Rihanna went in a completely different direction. She arrived in a brown Vetements football jersey with cargo shorts and beige stiletto boots, a crossbody bag, and sunglasses, her hair in a ponytail. A$AP Rocky wore an oversized white T-shirt, dark-wash denim with a cuffed hem, and Pharrell’s Louis Vuitton Combi sneaker with a bright red crocodile leather upper. The two appeared on the stadium Jumbotron and drew cheers, which is the specific kind of crowd moment that only happens when the people on screen are clearly having a good time rather than performing one. Their look was the most discussed of the afternoon — Vetements jersey, cargo shorts, and stilettos at the World Cup Final is a combination that only works at this level of personal style confidence.

The Suites: Who Was There and What They Wore

Winnie Harlow, Kevin Hart, and Matt Damon were among the famous faces in the suites, each noted by stadium cameras and flagged across social media as the Jumbotron worked through the crowd during breaks in play. Hailey Bieber was photographed in the suites in a clean, minimal look consistent with her current aesthetic. Dua Lipa and Callum Turner were spotted wearing matching sunglasses, the kind of couple styling detail that photographs well and spreads quickly. Pharrell Williams, Gayle King, Dwyane Wade, Karl-Anthony Towns, Adrien Brody, and Future were among the wider celebrity presence confirmed across the afternoon.

The Beckham contingent, David and Victoria, were present and were, as always, the most watched British couple in any room they entered. Kylie Jenner was in the suites. LeBron James and Tom Brady represented the sports world alongside Serena Williams, who occupied a specific position as a former champion watching a championship event with the particular composure of someone who has been on that side of the crowd dynamic themselves.

The Ceremony, the Halftime Show, and the After-Party

The closing ceremonies brought Robbie Williams, Tom Cruise, Nicole Scherzinger, Laura Pausini, Post Malone, Swae Lee, and Jennifer Hudson to the field. The halftime show, the tournament’s first ever, curated by Chris Martin, featured Justin Bieber, Madonna, Shakira, and BTS. Spain lifted the trophy. Justin Bieber and SKYLRK hosted the after-party, where the dress code shifted to slip dresses, naked dresses, and fringe. The fashion conversation that started on the pitch kept going long after the final whistle.
