Who Is Tom Green’s Fiancée? All About Amanda Nelson

A life of love and laughter is ahead for Tom Green and his fiancée, Amanda Nelson.

In December 2024, the comedian announced the couple’s engagement on Instagram, writing, “Big news! Amanda and I are engaged! I am the luckiest guy in the world. I love you Amanda.”

It’s unclear how Nelson and The Tom Green Show alum met, but according to The New York Times, the pair connected after Green moved home to Canada in 2021.

After two decades in the U.S., the actor said goodbye to Los Angeles and returned to his roots, where he crossed paths with Nelson, a fellow Canadian. They now reside on his 150-acre farm in a remote area of Ontario.

The sprawling piece of land — home to chickens and horses and Fanny the mule — is on full display in Amazon Prime Video’s This Is the Tom Green Documentary, which premiered on Jan. 24, and his upcoming TV series with the streaming platform, Tom Green: Country. Additionally, most of Green’s jokes for his comedy special, Tom Green: I Got a Mule!, were inspired by his new life in rural Canada.

She grew up in Green’s hometown in Canada 

Today, Nelson is a yoga teacher, personal trainer and nutrition coach, according to her private Instagram.

She made her debut on Green’s Instagram in June 2024

Green first posted about Nelson on Instagram in June 2024.

“Thank you to my amazing girlfriend Amanda for the fun times out west that was an adventure!” he wrote alongside several photos of the couple on vacation in the mountains.

A few months later, he shared more pictures with Nelson, calling her his “beautiful girlfriend.”

She and Green got engaged a few days before Christmas Day 2024

Green got down on one knee and proposed to Nelson amid the holiday season in December 2024.

After announcing their engagement, the comedian shared a video on Instagram of his fiancée excitedly waiting for her diamond ring to be sized.

“I can’t believe it. It’s so pretty and you’re my fiancé,” Nelson said in the clip. “We’re engaged now. I’m so happy.”

She and Green share a love for the “country life” 

After 20 years in L.A., Green moved back to Canada and bought a 150-acre farm, where he now lives with Nelson. A rep for the Road Trip star told PEOPLE that the couple share a love for “the country life.”

“I’m not really a Hollywood guy,” Green said during an interview with The New York Times. “I started to feel like I wasn’t being true to my authentic self.”

Amazon Prime Video’s This Is the Tom Green Documentary offers fans a glimpse into the couple’s life in rural Canada.

Green and Nelson, who reside just down the road from the comedian’s parents, are raising horses, a mule named Fanny and a donkey named Kia. They are also dog parents to a rescue named Charley.

She has joined Green on tour 

Occasionally, Nelson will venture away from the pair’s rural oasis to support Green at his stand-up comedy shows.

In May 2024, she was spotted in the audience alongside Green’s parents at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa for the taping of her beau’s Amazon Prime comedy special, Tom Green: I Got a Mule!

While on stage, Green hinted at wanting children.

“I’d like to have kids. I still might have kids. I think I’m gonna wait until I’m 60 to have kids, just so that I’ll know them when they’re nice,” he joked. “They’ll go to college, ask for money for college and I’ll die, perfect timing.”

Later that same year, Nelson joined Green on a tour stop in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The comedian documented their “amazing dinner” at The Press Gang — a local restaurant and oyster bar — on Instagram.
