John Brown is a bumbling but well-intentioned security guard who is badly injured in an explosion planned by an evil mastermind. He is taken to a laboratory, where Brenda, a leading robotics surgeon, replaces his damaged limbs with state-of-the-art gadgets and tools. Named “Inspector Gadget” by the press, John — along with his niece, Penny, and her trusty dog, Brain — uses his new powers to discover who was behind the explosion.
Netflix doesn’t currently have Inspector Gadget in its online library at the time of writing. We don’t expect that to change very soon, but you never know!

You won’t find Inspector Gadget on HBO Max. But if you’re still interested in the service, it’s $14.99 per month, which gives you full access to the entire vault, and is also ad-free, or $9.99 per month with ads. However, the annual versions for both are cheaper, with the ad-free plan at $150 and the ad-supported plan at $100.
Unfortunately, Inspector Gadget is not available to stream for free on Amazon Prime Video. However, you can choose other shows and movies to watch from there as it has a wide variety of shows and movies that you can choose from for $14.99 a month.
Inspector Gadget is not available to watch on Peacock at the time of writing. Peacock offers a subscription costing $4.99 a month or $49.99 per year for a premium account. As their namesake, the streaming platform is free with content out in the open, however, limited.
