5:28 – The Cardinals answer back with a drive that ended with a one-yard rushing touchdown for Corey Clement. They trail 13-14 after the first missed extra point.
5:13 – Blough was just picked off and the 49ers will take over on the Cardinals’ 30-yard line. Elijah Mitchell rushed in a five-yard touchdown for San Francisco to extend their lead to 14-6.
The Eagles went up by another three to extend their lead 13-0 over the Giants.
The Commanders have a two-touchdown lead over the Cowboys, but Slye missed the extra point after Dak Prescott threw a pick-six. Washington leads 13-0.
5:08 – The Chargers are in scoring position on the Broncos’ eight-yard line facing third down and two to go. Of course, it’s Austin Ekeler with the first down and goal. Herbert found Gerald Everett for a three-yard touchdown reception. The Chargers lead 14-7.
The Commanders are also getting ready to score. They are on the two-yard line with a fresh set of down after Howell hit McLaurin to get them them there. Well, shoot. Howell threw an interception in the end zone to end that drive with zero points.
5:03 – The Rams answered the Seahawks with a field goal of their own. They tie it up at 6-6. Barn burner.
4:55 – The Seahawks had to settle for a field goal and they take the lead 6-3 over the Rams.
4:49 – The Commanders had a field goal attempt to go up 10-0 over the Cowboys, but the kick was shanked wide left.
4:48 – Boston Scott got the nod for an eight-yard rushing touchdown to put the Eagles up 10-0.
4:45 – A.J. Brown made another big catch for the Eagles and they are approaching the red zone for the second time today. The first drive ended in a field goal against the Giants.
Latavius Murray pushed through the Chargers’ defense for a four-yard touchdown for the Broncos. They are tied 7-7.
4:43 – Jerry Jeudy just broke free of a tackle and turned it into a 13-yard gain for the Broncos to get them to the Chargers’ eight-yard line.
4:40 – The Chargers also scored earlier in the first quarter on a 14-yard pass from Justin Herbert to Keenan Allen.
4:33 – Christian McCaffrey and the 49ers answer the Cardinals’ early score on a short pass that turned into a 21-yard touchdown.
4:31 – The Cowboys fumbled the punt attempt and the Commanders recovered on Dallas’ 20-yard line. That turned into a 16-yard touchdown pass from Sam Howell to Terry McLaurin.
Crazy start to the late games.
4:28 – We are starting out the afternoon slate with action in two games. David Blough found A.J. Green for a whopping 77-yard touchdown for the Cardinals. The extra point was no good.
Then Geno Smith threw an interception to the Rams. They couldn’t convert and settled for a field goal.

4:22 – The Bengals had to punt, but were able to keep their lead and take the game.
4:13 – The final 1:00 pm ET game remaining is the Ravens-Bengals game with Cincinnati leading 27-16. Brown’s pass to Sammy Watkins was complete, but Watkins fumbled and the Bengals will take back over on their own 32-yard line.
4:09 – The Colts are driving down the field, down by one point on their own 45-yard line with 34 seconds left on the clock. Ehlinger’s Hail Mary pass is batted down and the Texans win. That means that the Bears will have the first overall pick in next year’s draft.
4:01 – Akins, again! He just scored a 28-yard touchdown on a pass that went through the hands of the defender in front of him. The Texans are going for two, down 30-31 with 50 seconds on the clock. The conversion is good (to Akins) and the Texans have the lead 32-31 over the Colts.
3:59 – Jason Sanders just took the lead for the Dolphins over the Jets with 18 seconds left on the clock.
3:47 – Derek Watt gets the touchdown for the Steelers on a one-yard run. They lead the Browns 28-14 after Johnson got the two-point conversion.
The Patriots just recovered a fumble on the punt and they have possession back again on the Bills’ 39-yard line.
3:46 – The Panthers just won the game 10-7 over the Saints with a field goal as time expired.
3:43 – This Patriots-Bills game is unreal! Allen just launched the football across the field for a 49-yard touchdown. They extend their lead 35-23.
Connor Heyward is having a great fourth quarter with Pickett as they are on the Browns’ five-yard line and getting ready to score.
3:34 – Wow! What a catch by Parker! Jones and Parker add six points on a 26-yard pass. The Patriots went for two, but it was unsuccessful. Bills keep the lead 28-23.
Darnold just threw an interception and the Saints will take over on offense tied 7-7 with the Panthers.
3:27 – We have two touchdowns nearly at the same time. Watson found Nick Chubb on a one-yard passing touchdown then Ehlinger connected with Mo Alie-Cox for a four-yard touchdown. The Colts just took the lead over the Texans 28-24. The Browns cut the Steelers’ lead down to 20-14.
3:20 – Ridder and Drake London are connecting well in this game against Tampa Bay. London has six receptions for 120 yards so far. Cordarrelle Patterson got the score on a two-yard run on the back of the Ridder-London drive to the two-yard line.
Skyler Thompson just hit Mike Gesicki downfield on a 32-yard play and the Dolphins are driving down the field on the Jets. That game is tied 6-6.
Tucker kicked another field goal for the Ravens. They trail the Bengals 27-13 in the third quarter.
3:18 – Wow! John Brown just made an amazing catch for a 42-yard touchdown reception for the Bills. They extend their lead to 28-17 over the Patriots.
3:14 – Mills just threw a pick-six and the Colts cuts the Texans’ lead down 24-21. This is a very entertaining game for a matchup that has no bearing on the playoffs.
3:13 – The Bengals and Vikings both kicked field goals to extend their leads in each game.
3:04 – The Ravens settled for a field goal by Justin Tucker to cut the Bengals’ lead down to 24-10. The Steelers have to do the same with Chris Boswell and they extend their lead 19-7 over the Browns.
The Falcons take the lead with a touchdown reception by Olamide Zaccheaus for three yards.
The Texans put more points on the board with a 19-yard touchdown reception by Jordan Akins
3:02 – UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Nyheim Hines ran back his second kick return for a touchdown! This one was officially logged at 101 yards. The Bills take the lead 21-17 over the Patriots. Crazy!
3:00 – Nathan Peterman is back in at QB for the Bears.
Watson was just picked off and the Steelers have possession on the Browns’ 37-yard line.
Burrow just fumbled after getting sacked and the Ravens have possession on the Bengals’ nine-yard line.
2:55 – Oh no! Devin Singletary just fumbled on the nine-yard line and the Patriots recovered. Jones scrambled to slide to the five-yard line but it’s fourth down. Nick Folk is on for the field goal and the Patriots take a 17-14 lead.
Moss somehow emerged from a pile of bodies to score a 15-yard touchdown for the Texans. That puts Houston up 17-13 over the Colts.
2:54 – The Dolphins take the lead over the Jets 6-3 with a field goal.
2:50 – Mattison just punched another touchdown for one yard.
Mac Jones was picked off while in scoring position.
2:49 – Raheem Mostert had a nice run for 21 yards to get the Dolphins into the red zone.
2:45 – Nick Mullens is in at QB for the Vikings.
2:43 – There was a Panthers fumble that was recovered and turned into a Panthers’ touchdown. Michael Jordan was credited with the touchdown. They are tied 7-7 with the Saints.
2:38 – D’Onta Foreman was just ejected from the Panthers-Saints game after he and Marcus Davenport got into a fight on the field.
2:30 – The Bengals snuck in another touchdown, this on the defense after the Ravens fumbled. They lead 24-7.
2:24 – The Steelers had to settle for a field goal. The Steelers lead 10-7.
The referees are reviewing the Vikings’ field goal even as the Bears head to the locker room.
2:23 – Greg Jospeh just got off a field goal as time expired in the first half.
2:20 – Watson was just picked off by the Steelers.
Dalvin Cook is back on the field.
2:19 – Brady is out for the remainder of the game and Blaine Gabbert is in at quarterback. He just threw a touchdown pass to Russell Gage who is down in the end zone holding his back.
2:16 – The Ravens just scored for the first time today with a four-yard run from Kenyan Drake. The Bengals scored earlier with Mixon as well as Ja’Marr Chase on a 26-yard pass from Joe Burrow. The Bengals lead the Ravens 17-7.
2:14 – The Steelers finally put points on the board with a touchdown pass from Pickett to George Pickens for 31 yards. They are tied with the Browns 7-7.
2:13 – The Jets tied up the Dolphins 3-3 with a field goal.
2:11 – The Patriots tied up the game with the Bills with a short touchdown from Mac Jones DeVante Parker.
2:07 – The Bears were quick to strike back with a 42-yard rushing touchdown by Velus Jones. The two-point conversion was unsuccessful. Tim Boyle is in at quarterback instead of Nathan Peterman.
1:58 – The Vikings go for a 28-yard field goal and they now have a 16-0 lead over the Bears.
David Njoku just scored a ten-yard touchdown on a pass from Deshaun Watson. They lead the Steelers 7-0.
Ehlinger just threw a pick and the Texans are on offense.
1:54 – The Buccaneers have to settle for a field goal to tie the game against Atlanta. Ryan Succop’s kick is … good for 41 yards! They are tied 10-10.
INJURY UPDATE: Gus Edwards is being checked out for a possible head injury. With Dobbins out, that leaves Justice Hill as the primary back.
1:48 – Royce Freeman just fumbled on the 21-yard line and the Colts recovered.
1:44 – With Cook on the sideline, Alexander Mattison gets the Vikings to the two-yard line. He finished off the drive with the two-yard touchdown.
The Bills take the lead over the Patriots with a short touchdown pass from Allen to Dawson Knox.
The Jets and Dolphins are still tied at 0-0 after Greg Zuerlein missed a 55-yard field goal.
1:43 – The Falcons take the lead over the Buccaneers 10-7 with a field goal.
INJURY UPDATE: Dalvin Cook is headed to the blue medical tent.
1:36 – Yikes! Chris Godwin just fumbled and the Falcons just took over with a short field on the Buccaneers’ 35-yard line.
1:29 – Tyler Boyd tried to dive into the end zone but he was down just short of the end zone. Joe Mixon rushed it in for one yard for the touchdown (corrected). The Bengals lead the Ravens 10-0.
Desmond Ridder just logged his first touchdown pass on the season for two yards to MyCole Pruitt. The Falcons just tied up the Buccaneers 7-7.
1:28 – The touchdown held in the Patriots-Bills game. They are tied 7-7.
1:26 – Sam Ehlinger was finally able to connect with Michael Pittman for a Colts’ score on a one-yard pass. Meanwhile, Anthony Brown is starting for the Ravens and he was just picked off. The Bengals have possession just past midfield.
1:24 – Jakobi Meyers made a great catch for a four-yard touchdown. Looks like his right foot barely scraped the turf. It’s ruled a touchdown on the field and is under review. If it stands, the Bills and Patriots will be tied 7-7.
1:20 – The Colts are now in the red zone after a 30-plus-yard play from Zach Moss.
1:19 – Oh no! After not challenging the call on the first down play, Harris tried to leap the pack but fumbled the football. The Browns recovered and Pittsburgh comes away with nothing. Yikes.
1:15 – Diontae Johnson nearly scored a touchdown on a long pass from Kenny Pickett for 32 yards. He was brought down on the Browns’ two-yard line. Najee Harris tried to bruise his way to the goal line but it was called just short. It doesn’t look like his knee touched the ground, but the Steelers did not challenge the call.
1:12 – Oh no. The Colts just fumbled the kick return after the Cooks touchdown. The Texans are back on offense at the Colts’ 20-yard line but they had to settle for a field goal. They lead the Colts 10-0.
1:11 – Adam Thielen scored a four-yard touchdown from Kirk Cousins on the back of a huge pass for 66 yards to K.J. Osborn.
Kyle Rudolph scored for the Buccaneers on an eight-yard pass from Tom Brady. Not sure how much longer Brady will stay in the game.
1:08 – The Saints weren’t far behind with a touchdown from Andy Dalton to Chris Olave for a 25-yard touchdown. Meanwhile, the Vikings and the Buccaneers are both in the red zone in scoring position.
1:06 – Davis Mills just found Brandin Cooks in the back of the end zone for an 11-yard touchdown. The Texans take an early 7-0 lead over the Colts.
1:03 – Wow! The Bills opened up the game with a 96-yard kickoff return for a touchdown! That is dedicated to Damar Hamlin.
