WAREHAM – After the chaotic yet successful hybrid year that Wareham High School DECA had in 2021, the club is pleased to continue annual in-person traditions this year.
Wareham High School DECA will host its Third Annual Fashion Show on Jan. 20, at 4:30 p.m. in the Wareham High School cafeteria.
Wareham DECA is an organization and extra-curricular club at Wareham High School that prepares emerging entrepreneurs and leaders in management, marketing, finance, and hospitality.
DECA applies skills learned in the classroom to real-world business scenarios. All proceeds of the fashion show go directly to students to help defray the costs of competitive events and conferences, as well as help recoup funds lost as a result of COVID-19.
This year’s fashion show will be put on in collaboration with members of the Fashion Marketing class, Business Principles/Project Management class, and WHS DECA members. All town, state, and federal COVID-19 guidelines will be followed, and all possible safety precautions will be taken to ensure the safety of students, staff, and attendees. Masks will be required. Models will walk across the red carpet where the audience will observe outfits styled by the Fashion Marketing class.
