UTSA Department of Political Science and Geography to host post-election roundtable on November 14

NOVEMBER 14, 2022 — The UTSA Department of Political Science and Geography is inviting the public to attend a post-election roundtable discussion from noon to 2 p.m. on Monday, November 14, at the H-E-B Student Union Hidalgo Room (HSU 2.214) on the Main Campus.

Panelists will discuss the outcome of the mid-term elections and its implication for Texas, the nation and the 2024 Presidential election.

Stephen Amberg, associate professor of political science
Specializes in American political development, comparative political economy, the regulation of work and popular participation in politics

Bryan Gervais, associate professor of political science
Specializes in political communication and political psychology

Sharon Navarro, professor of political science
Specializes in Latino/a politics, women in politics and race in American politics

Walter Wilson, associate professor of political science
Specializes in American politics, legislatures and Latino politics and representation.

Moderator:

Jon Taylor, professor of political science and chair of the Department of Political Science and Geography
Specializes in Chinese politics and public policy, Chinese and U.S. urban politics and urbanization, and comparative public sector ethics.
