UK finance minister to meet JPMorgan’s Dimon -source

LONDON, Sept 7 (Reuters) – Britain’s new finance minister, Kwasi Kwarteng, is due to meet with JPMorgan Chase & Co (JPM.N) Chief Executive and Chairman Jamie Dimon on Thursday, a person familiar with the matter said.

Kwarteng, who was appointed on Tuesday by new Prime Minister Liz Truss, held talks with senior banking figures from the City of London on Wednesday to set out the government’s new economic approach. read more

Those included Goldman Sachs’ head of its international unit Richard Gnodde and HSBC Group Chief Executive Noel Quinn.
