Donald Trump’s approval rating is beginning to reach lows that no president has hit since George W. Bush at the start of the Great Recession. An intelligent political party would be trying to hide and run away from a leader for whom the descriptor radioactively toxic is an understatement.
The Republican Party is not smart, so they are doing the opposite.

If roughly 70% of America opposes Donald Trump, the Republican Party has decided that the ideal answer is to give the country more Trump.
Semafor reported:
Trump’s visit to Myrtle Beach — where he hopes to provide a boost to Sen. Darline Graham, R-S.C. — comes as Republicans face a difficult path to retaining full control of Washington. The White House is shifting to an all-hands-on-deck approach, with Vice President JD Vance also campaigning in Ohio today.
A White House official told Semafor that Trump plans to continue traveling the country in the months ahead despite myriad foreign policy challenges. Trump has sought to shift focus away from the unpopular Iran conflict recently, though his pivot to economic penalties could make it harder for Republicans to make inroads on affordability.
It is all hands on deck, as an unpopular administration has decided that it is going to go coast to coast, dooming Republican candidates by reminding voters that the Republican on the ballot in their district or state is an extension of the president and vice president that they really don’t like.
Democratic dreams are coming true, as they couldn’t have come up with a better plan to win the midterm election if they wrote it themselves.
The last thing that voters want to see is a billionaire president telling them that everything is great and all of their concerns about affordability and gas prices are a hoax.
If Donald Trump is going to be campaigning for Republicans, a whole lot of Republicans are going to lose elections.
