25-year-old Sevi Fernandez is an Indian citizen who is settled in Belgium’s Nemur city. He was touring UP on a vacation and was scheduled to reach Agra on Tuesday from Mathura. However, he reportedly found the bus journey uncomfortable and deboarded midway. The cabbie he hired reportedly left him “somewhere on the highway” in Agra, forcing him to hire an autorickshaw to reach the hotel where he had a reservation.

“On the basis of a complaint by the victim, an FIR has been registered against three ‘unidentified’ men under relevant IPC sections. The matter is being investigated, and CCTV footage is being examined,” Tourism police SHO Jai Singh Parihar was quoted as saying by the newspaper.
Sevi Fernandez’s mother is native to North Goa and married a Portuguese citizen. According to the report, Sevi mentioned his address as North Goa in the FIR.
