Tilted 10 holds ceremony to celebrate opening of entertainment space

CHERRY VALLEY — One of the best things about going bowling is the food and drinks, and Tilted 10 hopes to deliver on all of the above now that the business is fully open.

After more than a year of waiting, the entertainment and restaurant complex located inside CherryVale Mall finally hosted a grand opening celebration complete with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The arcade and bowling side of the business opened in June 2020. The restaurant opened this past spring. Because of the pandemic, the family fun center postponed its opening party until Thursday when it invited business leaders, media and customers to take in the full experience.

While the business is known for its games, the restaurant and bar hope to add another layer of fun with chef-inspired meals and craft cocktails.

Pinky Langdon plays a virtual reality game on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021, at Tilted 10 in Rockford.

Appetizers include loaded tots topped with queso and bacon, wings with a choice of six different sauces and pizza rolls just.

Director of Group Events Anne Marie Binger said the restaurant is already starting to see regulars. Popular entrees include the bacon and cheese dip burger. The 4-ounce burger comes drenched in queso cheese dip, caramelized onions and mayonnaise on a brioche bun.
