I’ll be the first to admit that I own a considerable number of beauty products. It comes with the beauty-editor title and territory. Honestly, though, I think I’d hoard beauty products even if I didn’t work in the industry. I genuinely love the sensorial experience of trying something new—the packaging, the texture, the scent, etc.
That’s why I’m always checking in on my favorite beauty retailers, like Ulta, to stay up to date on the latest and greatest. (I have FOMO at the thought of a trendy new item selling out before I can get my hands on it.)
