Tiktok is a treasure trove of excellent (and affordable) finds. Some of my favorite discoveries, however, have been kitchen tools that TikTokers swear by. Whether you’re a pro chef or just an amateur in the kitchen, these gizmos are sure to make your meal prep a little easier — and daresay, more fun.

This electric peeler popped up so many times on TikTok. It tackles fruits and veggies of all shapes and textures quickly and effectively, even potatoes, beets, apples and carrots. It not only peels but also juliennes strips for salads and garnishes and I love that it’s USB rechargeable so you won’t need to dig for AA batteries in your junk drawer.

People are loving this electric stirrer that automatically helps keep soups and gravies moving along in saucepans. As a twin mom who uses the fire alarm as a dinner bell, I appreciate any gadget that gives me an extra hand and this has come in super handy for beans, milk and sauces. It has three different speeds but keep in mind that it works best with mixtures that aren’t too thick, so just say yes to butternut squash soup, but maybe opt for hand mixing thicker oatmeals and porridges!
Let’s all be honest, spreading cold butter on a piece of bread is kind of a bummer. This knife with small slotted holes running down the blade edge is making the rounds on TikTok since it immediately curls and softens refrigerated butter so your bread stays fluffy, toasty and in one piece.

If you love hard-boiled eggs but still haven’t perfected the timing of it all, I hear you. The genius of this egg timer is that it absorbs heat alongside your eggs in the boiling water! Its face then changes color indicating soft, medium and hard-boiled stages. Don’t forget to place eggs in a nice ice bath to stop the cooking process. At just $7, it’s really no surprise this is such a hit.
There really isn’t a chore I hate as much as dicing fruits and vegetables. So the mom in me was super psyched to discover this veggie chopper that TikTokers are raving about. It has five interchangeable blades that can slice, shred, cube, mince, chop and grate and I love that it comes with a hand protector to safeguard fingers and knuckles. Total win!
