The Houston Texans updated Team Outlook after reaching a deal with Matt Burke to be the team’s new Defensive Coordinator. Burke, 46, spent the 2022 season as the Arizona Cardinals’ DL coach. He has served as a DC coordinator before, with the Miami Dolphins from 2017 to 2018. Under Burke, the Cardinals allowed 118.6 rushing yards per game in 2022, ranking 14th in the league. It is unclear whether newly hired HC DeMeco Ryans or Burke will call the defensive plays.
