Steven Spielberg makes Netflix’s “multiple” feature films.
The award-winning director confirmed that his film studio Amblin Partners has agreed on a new partnership with the streaming giant. He looks forward to working with Netflix bosses Ted Sarandos and Scott Stuber in the future.
He states: “At Amblin, storytelling is central to all of our activities. From the moment Ted and I started discussing partnerships, we had a great opportunity to share new stories and reach our audience. It was clear enough. A new way.
“This new path in our film is incredibly fulfilling to me as we embark on it with Ted, along with the stories we continue to tell with Universal’s longtime family and other partners. And I can’t wait to get started with him, Scott, and the entire Netflix team. “
Meanwhile, Stephen previously admitted that it would take “a few years” for him to look back on his film.
He said, “I’m always moving very fast and I don’t look back much. So after making a movie, I don’t sit down and watch my movie on the movie screen. Sometimes that was years ago. Sometimes I dare to watch the movie again or stop the movie after 5 minutes … I’m too busy with my personal life and work to spend a lot of time. Success or failure? “
