King signed with Pittsburgh a week before the season began but did not play much, recording no stats in brief appearances across 3 games. The Steelers are relying heavily on veterans Levi Wallace and Patrick Peterson at Cornerback, while the emergence of rookie Joey Porter Jr. has given them the flexibility to release King.
