Irving has a busy calendar this weekend, with soul music, a fashion show and pop-up market and family hike.

Here’s a round-up of what’s coming up:

What: Soul Music and Music for the Soul, presented by the Irving Black Arts Council in partnership with Inspiration Inc. Concert will include visual arts, dance and drumming, featuring the music of Chaka Khan, Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross and more.

When: 7:30 p.m. Saturday

Where: Irving Arts Center, 3333 N. MacArthur Blvd.

Cost: Tickets are $15-20

What: The NYLO Las Colinas Hotel is hosting a Fashion Show and Pop Up Market with small business booths.

When: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with fashion shows at 1, 2 and 3 p.m.

Where: NYLO Las Colinas Hotel, 1001 West Royal Lane

Cost: $10

What: Residents are invited to hike one to two miles along Campion Trail then have a family picnic.

When: Hike begins at 9:15 a.m. Saturday.

Where: T.W. Richardson Grove park, 333 E. Interstate Highway 635.

Cost: Free

What: Irving’s parks and recreation department is hosting adult recess every week, with cornhole, tetherball, pickle ball, shuffleboard, table tennis and giant Jenga.

When: 6 to 8 p.m. Fridays

When: Toyota Music Factory, 340 W. Las Colinas Blvd.

Cost: Free

What: The Dallas Museum of Art has brought a free, pop-up exhibit, “Frida Kahlo: Five Works,” to the city. The outdoor installation is inspired by Kahlo’s home and museum in Mexico City and features reproductions of Still Life and Still Life with Parrot and Flag, two of Kahlo’s paintings on view at the DMA.

When: The exhibit will be on display through June 20.

Where: 360 W. Las Colinas Blvd.

Cost: Free
