NEENAH 35, MENASHA 21
MENASHA – The Rockets scored the final 21 points, including 14 points in the fourth quarter, to pull away for the victory over the Bluejays.
In the continuation of a game suspended by inclement weather tied at 14-14 on Friday, the Rockets fell behind 21-14 after a 61-yard touchdown run by Menasha’s Davontre Smith before rallying.
It was the 97th meeting for the two teams, but first since 2013 when both teams were members of the Fox Valley Association.
Matt Jung hit Darius Jones on a 26-yard touchdown pass on fourth down to tie the game in the third quarter and then connected on a 43-yard touchdown pass to Dayne Newman. A 1-yard touchdown run by Bryce Braunel capped the scoring for Neenah.
AJ Korth had two rushing touchdowns for Menasha, including an 81-yard score in the second quarter Friday night.

CLINTONVILLE – Dylan Thomson ran for 191 yards and three touchdowns on 19 carries to power the Panthers to the victory over the Truckers.
Braiden Behnke ran for one touchdown and passed for two TDs for the Truckers.

WINNECONNE 20, OMRO 19 (FRIDAY)
OMRO – Ethan Mathe rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries to lead the Wolves to the win over the Foxes in the China Bull game.
Tyler Youngbauer completed 11 of 19 passes for 130 yards and rushed for one TD for Winneconne.
Cole Henke accounted for the bulk of Omro’s offense, rushing for 127 yards and two touchdowns and throwing for 78 yards and a score.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL
KETTLE MORAINE INVITATIONAL
WALES – Kaukauna won the invitational, going 5-0 in matches and 10-0 in sets.
The Ghosts beat Nicolet 25-4, 25-18, Catholic Memorial 25-18, 25-15, Germantown 25-20, 25-14, Marquette 25-18, 27-26 and Kettle Moraine 25-21, 26-24.
Aidan Van Epern had 28 kills to lead Kaukauna. Caden Klapperich and Xavier Stueber both had 20 kills. Keaton Gaffney had 13 kills. David Vande Hey totaled 89 assists and Owen Mursau had 16 digs.
Kimberly finished in third place. In pool play, the Papermakers defeated Burlington 25-15, 25-14 and Kenosha Indian Trail 25-20, 25-15. In the gold bracket playoffs, the Papermakers defeated Arrowhead 21-25, 25-21, 15-13 and lost to Kettle Moraine 24-26, 25-22, 13-15.
“I was really proud of the way our boys battled in some close matches,” Kimberly coach Matt Seidl said. “Some really good competition in our first tournament outside the Valley since 2019. It was great to be back and competing at a high level. Very excited about the potential for this squad.”
Hayden Karpinski led Kimberly with 30 kills. He also had 14 digs and seven blocks. Miles Wisneski had 25 kills to go along with 10 digs and six blocks.
Charlie Gregorski led the team with 96 assists with Kyle Schultz leading in digs with 25. Gregorski also contributed 10 digs, as did Kevin McGrath. Lucas Eckrose had 20 kills, while Brayden Mau had 13 kills.
Appleton West lost to Kettle Moraine 19-25, 16-25, beat Brookfield Central 22-25, 25-18, 15-12, lost to Wauwatosa East 23-25, 11-25 and lost to Brookfield East 25-18, 18-25, 12-15.
The Terrors were led by Brendan Nesemann with 44 assists. Liam Richards and Owen Hartjes had 24 and 20 kills, respectively, and Sam Seiler had 31 digs.
