The New Orleans Saints updated Team Outlook after hiring former Cleveland Browns Defensive Coordinator Joe Woods to the same position. Woods, who was fired by Browns after this past season, will be reunited with Saints HC Dennis Allen. Woods was a DB Coach with the Raiders in 2014 when Allen was the team’s HC. At one point in mid-October this season, Woods’ defense ranked No. 31 in the NFL in defensive efficiency.
