BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – Gardner-Webb University athletics announced Monday the creation of the Runnin’ Bulldogs Sports Network, with its flagship podcast set to launch Tuesday, August 17.
The Runnin’ Bulldogs Sports Network is a multimedia platform that will serve as a hub for all radio and digitally produced broadcast content by Gardner-Webb athletics. The network can be found online at GWUSports.com.
The network will house interviews with student-athletes and coaches, podcasts, and highlight packages for fans to relive the action, in addition to other feature content. All live video streaming content will continue to air on ESPN platforms via the Big South Network.
Director of Broadcasting Phil Constantino will oversee the network’s day-to-day operations.
“This is an exciting step forward for our department,” said Constantino. “The Runnin’ Bulldogs Sports Network allows us to bring all Gardner-Webb athletics content under one umbrella and provide our fans with an experience that is among the best in college athletics.”
The Runnin’ Bulldogs Sports Network will debut Inside the Webb, the official podcast of Gardner-Webb Athletics, on Tuesday, August 17. The podcast is designed to provide behind-the-scenes access to student-athletes and coaches, while also connecting fans with Gardner-Webb legends of the past. Inside the Webb will be available on all podcast platforms.
