ROCKFORD (WREX) — Stroll on State is quickly approaching and a new Rockford community group is taking part in the activities.
Rockford’s Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will be providing Hispanic entertainment as part of the events this year.
This is the first time the chamber will be working with Stroll as they were just founded earlier this year.
Their stage, which will be located at State and First St. on Saturday, will consist of live music, food and a santa reading with much more in stock.
One member of the chamber says the relationship built with Stroll organizers was key to putting on such a wonderful event.
“they know us and we have a good relationship and they do a good job of reaching out to work with us so we establish that relationship and they asked to work with us,” Chamber member Armando Cardenas said.
