Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson held up red carpet traffic at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival.
The two stars kicked off press for their film, Die, My Love, at the star-studded affair and they definitely dressed to impress for the big premiere.
However, at some point while walking the red carpet on Saturday, May 17, the two got mixed up in slight blunder when the Twilight star, 39, ended up standing on top of his costar’s elegant Dior gown that, according to Vogue, took 250 hours to create.

Pattinson soon realized that he was standing on top of Lawrence’s couture ensemble and quickly stepped off the skirt hem, which extended into a semi-dramatic train.
The two ended up laughing off the situation and continued to pose for photos.
Lawrence’s appearance, meanwhile, marked her first major outing since welcoming her second baby with husband Cooke Maroney earlier this year.
In addition to the Dior design, which was modeled after a Poulenc dress crafted by the fashion house in 1949, the actress, 34, stood out with her red lipstick and sophisticated updo.

Die, My Love is directed by Scottish filmmaker Lynne Ramsay and is a movie adaption of the 2017 novel of the same name by Ariana Harwicz.
The film centers on Lawrence as a woman “engulfed by love and madness,” per a logline obtained by Deadline. Pattinson portrays Lawrence’s husband in the movie, while LaKeith Stanfield portrays her lover.
Following the movie’s premiere, the duo received a nine-minute standing ovation.
