A fashion show at the London Bridge Resort Wednesday evening raised funds for the Cancer Association of Havasu. It was the 35th anniversary of the event.
“It was a very successful event – 320 attendees,” said Evie Cistaro, Cancer Association volunteer.
Cistaro saisd the event sold out.
Fashion from eight local shops was featured by local volunteer models.
“We had over $15,000 in sponsors. We made over $18,000. It was also Crown Jewels 35th Anniversary in the show,” Cistaro said.
Kathy Jo Baumer was the chairman and Jolene Jensen was the director. It The theme was “Royal Elegant Evening” in honor of Queen Elizabeth II.
Participating shops included: Crown Jewels, Dillard’s, Bling, RU Gallery, Barracuda, Finch House Boutique, Olive and Ella, Denim and Diamonds and Chic Again.
