Katy Perry is expected to testify at the upcoming trial over a $15 million California mansion against a Real Housewives alum’s family member – and the former Bravo star will be present in court for the drama, Us Weekly can exclusively report.
Kameron Westcott, who starred on Real Housewives of Dallas, will be in the courtroom later this month. Kameron is the daughter-in-law of businessman Carl Westcott. Real Housewives of Dallas ran for 5 seasons on Bravo from 2016 to 2021, and Kameron, 42, starred on seasons 2 through 5.
Kameron tells Us, “We want to face Katy Perry in court after all our family has been through. We’ll continue to fight for Carl. Not everyone who can carry a tune deserves an applause.”
In court, Perry, 40, will be questioned by Carl’s legal team as part of a never-ending battle over an 8-bedroom, 9-bathroom estate in Santa Barbara.
Carl, 85, sued Perry’s business manager Bernie Gudvi in 2020. He claimed he executed a deal to sell Perry, via Gudvi, his home while under the influence of pain medicine prescribed following a procedure.

In the suit, Carl said he was not in the right mind to execute the paperwork. Perry’s team scoffed at the claim. They argued he was fully present during negotiations and was even talking to other potential buyers.
The first phase of the trial went down in November 2023. The court sided with Perry’s team and ordered the keys to be turned over to Perry. The parties have been preparing for phase two of the trial, scheduled to start on August 21, ever since.
