Cincinnati Reds starting pitcher Zack Littell throws a pitch in the first inning of Game 2 in the wild-card series against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2025. The Reds were eliminated from the postseason with an 8-4 loss. Littell, 30, posted an 8-8 record with a 3.58 ERA in 22 starts with the Rays before being sent to the Reds at the MLB trade deadline. He had been a mainstay of Tampa Bay’s rotation for the previous 2 1/2 seasons after pitching largely out of the bullpen for the Minnesota Twins, San Francisco Giants and Boston Red Sox from 2018 to 2023.
