Raiders Updated Outlook: QB Derek Carr Released

The Las Vegas Raiders updated Team Outlook after releasing Quarterback Derek Carr following nine years with the organization. This move comes as no surprise, as Carr was benched for the final two games of the 2022 season. Carr, 31 years old and a four-time Pro Bowler, is the franchise’s all-time leader in almost every significant passing category – including yards (35,222), touchdowns (217), and QBR (91.8). By releasing Carr ahead of the Feb. 15 deadline, the Raiders save $29.25M in salary cap space.
