College basketball picks for Ohio State vs. Purdue

Before tuning into the Purdue vs. Ohio State game, you need to see the college basketball picks from SportsLine’s advanced computer model. The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every Division I college basketball game 10,000 times. Over the past five-plus years, the proprietary computer model has generated an impressive profit of over $2,400 for $100 players on its top-rated college basketball picks against the spread. Anyone who has followed it has seen huge returns.

For Ohio State vs. Purdue, the model is picking the over 145 to hit with ease. The Boilermakers are led by guard Jaden Ivey, who’s averaging 16.6 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. Ivey has scored 17 or more points in three of his last four outings, and he’s knocking down 51.4 percent of his shots at home this season.

Ohio State, meanwhile, features a plethora of playmakers, including forward E.J. Liddell, who leads the Buckeyes in scoring at 19.6 points per game. Liddell is coming off an impressive performance in Ohio State’s victory over Minnesota on Thursday, recording a double-double with 23 points and 15 rebounds. In addition, the total has gone over in five of Ohio State’s last six games on the road.

SportsLine’s model projects these two teams will combine for 149 points on Sunday, which helps the over hit in almost 60 percent of simulations.
