The latest “Marxist Rage” syndrome out of the State College area, appearing in the March 7 Sun-Gazette letters to the editor and titled “Mark Twain was right,” chastises Republican politicians who have been in power for too long. As usual, this was just another leftist attack against Conservatives, while at the same time, attempting to convince the readers that every Democratic legislator is the second coming of Christ.
However, I do agree with the comparison, considering today’s political arena, to Mark Twain’s quote “Diapers and Politicians should be changed frequently, and for the same reason.” Surely the writer was referring to “Political Dinosaurs” like Joe Biden, Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi and several others who have over-stayed their usefulness.
