Political consultants Ed Emerson and Randy Economy joined Inside California Politics to discuss how California’s 2021 gubernatorial recall election compares to the 2003 effort to recall Gov. Gray Davis.

“You had this feeling of inevitability,” Emerson said. “When Arnold Schwarzenegger got in the race, it was over. It was really difficult to get any traction, any movement.”
