Palamu police nabs three thieves, recovers stolen gadgets

The Panki police have arrested three thieves and recovered 12 desktops computers, two printers, 12 keyboards, CPU, mouse and  Xerox machine which were stolen on the March 15 night, from the computer lab of the Mazdoor Kissan Inter college Dandar Kalan. Palamu SP Chandan Kumar Sinha informed today.

The three arrested thieves have been identified as Mukesh, Pramod and Nitish. The police have forwarded these thieves to judicial custody .

The kingpin of the gang, Satish is reported to have fled to the Punjab, said SP.

Police had found dismantled CCTV camera thrown in the back yard of the campus.

The entire recovery was done at a nondescript village Rudiya near BIT Mesra Ranchi.

There is now a question as to when these electronic gadgets will be legally restored to the college as it has been seized lawfully.

Commenting on this SP said the concerned college should give police its request for restoration of the recovered stolen goods which police will forwarded to the court of the chief judicial magistrate for final order for its release to the college.

It is a sheer chance that electronic gadgets were stolen when the intermediate practical examinations of the Jharkhand Academic Council were over otherwise it would have been problem for college administartion to hold their final inter practical examinations.
