The San Diego Padres updated Team Outlook after Third Base prospect Eguy Rosario suffered a broken ankle during winter workouts. The 23-year-old is not expected to be back in the lineup until “midsummer.” Rosario, who is the Padres’ No. 5 ranked prospect, slashed 288/.368/.508 and 22 home runs in Triple-A last year. The versatile infielder has six plate appearances in the majors and upon return is expected to compete for a backup infield spot.
