Muscat: The Oman Development Bank will launch tomorrow, a financing product for rural women working in agricultural and livestock activities and related industries.
It is expected that more than 915 rural women will benefit from the loans.
Oman News Agency said: “The Oman Development Bank will launch tomorrow, Sunday, a financing product called ‘Rural’, which is designed to meet the needs of women, especially rural women working in agricultural and livestock activities and related industries, in partnership with the Ministry of Agricultural Wealth, Fisheries and Water Resources.”
“It is expected that more than 915 rural women and girls will benefit from the product, with a loan portfolio of OMR12 million, subject to increase in the event of an increase in demand for the product,” ONA added.
