Although the film is only a few weeks away, fans are still anxious for as much Spider-Man: No Way Home information as they can get. The film has generated so much anticipation that people are literally fighting over tickets, the prices of which have only skyrocketed on eBay. It’s definitely going to be a massive release. With this in mind, fans are quickly analyzing every piece of merchandise and any promotional material they can get their hands on. This now includes the upcoming Hot Toys Collectibles figure, a Peter Parker figure for their Cosbaby line. If you look closely at the figure, it seems to reveal a new gadget that Peter Parker will presumably use in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
As seen in a Hot Toys Collectibles announcement, via The Direct, the gadget attached to the new Spider-Man: No Way Home figure appears to have the same color scheme as the Iron Spider suit. In particular, it has the same red, yellow, and blue color scheme.

It’s expected that this could actually be a way for Peter Parker to store the nanites required to form his Iron Spider suit. Of course, it’s unclear just how else the device will come into play during the film. It’s definitely different than how the nanites were stored in the previous film entry. It’s also possible that this device won’t actually make its way into the movie, and that it is simply a strange piece exclusive to this figure. As is the case with several theories circulating the film, we might just have to wait until the December release date to know for sure.
The upcoming MCU film was directed by Jon Watts from a script by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.
Tom Holland, Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jamie Foxx, Alfred Molina, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, and Hannibal Buress are all attached to appear.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is currently scheduled to hit theaters on December 17, 2021.
