A local hospitality management company is bringing a new sports and entertainment concept to downtown Cincinnati.
Tyler Wogenstahl, owner of Further Concepts and Investors, recently signed a lease for an 8,000-square-foot space in Cincinnati Center City Development Corp.’s (3CDC) mixed-use Foundry development. According to a press release, the new concept, located at 500 Race St., will open by the end of 2023.
The establishment will have an affordable menu with American cuisine, including well-known Cincinnati favorites. It will also offer Southern-inspired brunch, lunch, dinner and late-night food options.
Wogenstahl said he wants the newly acquired space to be a relaxing, welcoming and fun place for large groups to hang out, watch a game or celebrate an important event.

“The new space is surrounded by fine-dining establishments, but this will be something different,” Wogenstahl said in a statement. “This will be a place you can show up in a suit or a sweatshirt and fit right in. A place that gets people excited to go out, socialize and have fun again.”
Further Concepts and Investors is currently working with Durham, a Covington-based branding firm, to determine a name. Wogenstahl said he hopes to incorporate the history of the space and surrounding area into it.
In September, Further Concepts and Investors and 3CDC announced plans for an elevated sushi concept, Baru, which is scheduled to open in the 84.51° building in early 2023. The upcoming sports and entertainment concept will be Wogenstahl’s third project, along with Baru and Lori’s Roadhouse in West Chester.
