STEUBENVILLE — The New Philadelphia Post 139 Legion baseball team will not be a part of the double elimination district tournament beginning today at Vaccaro Field.
Post 139 originally was scheduled to face Jefferson County Teramana Post 33 at 4 p.m. Post 33 now will not play until Friday.
Brilliant Post 573 will face Conotton Valley at 4 p.m. today instead of the originally scheduled 1 p.m. Jefferson County will face the winner of Game 1 at 7 p.m. on Friday.
On Saturday, the Game 1 loser faces the Game 2 loser at 4 p.m. The winner then faces the Game 2 winner at 7 p.m. If necessary, a do-or-die Game 5 will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday.
