A celebrity-favorite brand that aims to create “the best yoga clothing in the world” has opened its first Arizona store.
Alo Yoga’s “Scottsdale Sanctuary” opened on Oct. 19 at Scottsdale Fashion Square with a two-day party to celebrate. The 6,700-square-foot store is located on the first floor, between Burberry and AllSaints, across from Hugo Boss and Tesla. Hours are listed on Alo’s website as 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Mondays-Saturdays and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sundays.
“Scottsdale Fashion Square’s shopper profile is an ideal fit as we introduce our luxury performance garments to a broader segment of fashion lovers,” Marco DeGeorge, co-founder of Alo Yoga, said in a stateme.
DeGeorge added that the company is eager to “establish an Alo community in Scottsdale.”
Alo was founded in 2007 in Los Angeles. It now has locations in Southern California, New York, and Austin, Texas. Several locations also have studios where students can take yoga classes.
Kendall Jenner, Taylor Swift and Gigi Hadid are among the celebrities who have been pictured in Alo’s athleisure apparel.

Yoga, aura readings to celebrate Alo’s Scottsdale opening
Alo will host several events to celebrate its arrival in Arizona.
An “om-warming” party will be open to the public from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 19 and 20. There will be music from Sol Rising, reiki energy readings, aura readings by Monika George of Cosmic Hour and beverages.
At 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 20, there will be a $30 full moon yoga and meditation class with a view of Camelback Mountain on the top deck of the Dillard’s parking garage. There will be a giveaway with 100 hats and totes as well as a prize drawing.
