AS Irish households continue to be slapped with electricity bill increases, we are all looking for ways to save.
And one TikToker has found the perfect gadget in Penneys that will help cut costs immediately.

Victoria McKelvey, who posts under @victoriamckelvey0, shared her hack on TikTok, saying: “My electricity bill is high enough.”
She reveals a set of Indoor Strip Lights – which are priced at €2.
Victoria, from Northern Ireland, said: “I got these in Primark today for £1.50.
“So they’re like we strap of LED lights and you just stick them on.”
The lights appear to be on a long stretch of 1.5 meter tape.
The savvy saver hung the lights underneath a cabinet, above the worktop.
She said: “They’ve got like a wee battery and you can turn them on off.”
She sticks the battery in the corner behind a vase of flowers.

Victoria continued: “But literally they make such a difference to my kitchen.
“I’ll turn the lights completely off.”
Victoria turns the lights off and the strip lights continue to keep the worktop bright.
Penneys chiefs said that the Indoor Strip Lights are the “perfect way to easily light” up your countertop.
‘REALLY GOOD’
And some followers had the same idea.
She added: “Oh, like, Oh my God, you need to go and get these.”
One person said: “I have some and they’re actually really good.”
Another said: “Get command double sided tape to stick it under the cupboard to hide the lead.”
While someone else wrote: “I’ll be there first thing tomorrow morning thanks.”
Some followers suggested getting rechargeable batteries to save further.
