Selena Forrest
First discovered in 2015 in Huntington Beach, Selena Forrest is fierce. Just months prior to booking her debut at Proenza Schouler’s Spring/Summer 2016 show, Forrest manually removed her own braces to start modeling.
Forrest has covered i-D’s “Futurewise” issue and twice for The New York Times‘ T Magazine. She’s shot with Karl Lagerfeld and flown all over the working with top names including Saint Laurent, Calvin Klein, Dior, Prada, DKNY, Adidas, Fenty Beauty, and more, as well as walking for Alexander McQueen, Roberto Cavalli, Celine, Tom Ford, Vera Wang, and Versace.
The American beauty is outspoken on issues of racial equality and diverse casting within the industry, stating in a 2016 feature with The Cut, “If your clothes look good on everybody and if you’re that confident about your clothes, then you should put them on everybody.”
Forrest was a Breakout Star Nominee in 2016 for the Model of The Year Awards, as well as Model of The Year Nominee in 2017, and Street Style Nominee in 2018.
