LA CROSSE (WKBT) – The 31st Annual Great Tri-State Rail Sale chugged into town Saturday at the La Crosse Center.
Model railroad enthusiasts got a chance to add to their collections, check out antiques and swap railroads.
This is the largest one-day hobby sale in the Tri-State Area.
The 4000 Foundation, who hosts the Sale, says that it is a great opportunity to network with vendors.
“If you happen to be looking for replacement parts or accessories for a model train or antique toy train, this is a great place to come looking for that.” said 4000 Foundation President Mark Hamre.
Money raised from the event will help maintain and restore the La Crosse Short Line Railroad Heritage Museum in Copeland Park.
