Mark Ronson will be honored with the Music for Life award and sit for an interview to open the National Association of Music Merchants show in Anaheim, Calif., next week, the organization has announced. The not-for-profit music trade organization will hold its annual gathering from Thursday, January 25 through Sunday, January 28.
The interview will be part of president/CEO John Mlynczakās Thursday morning on-stage session, which will also see the CEO joined by a number of other special guests.
Ronson, who has won an Oscar and seven Grammys, will be honored for āhis lifelong contributions to music and commitment to inspiring music makers,ā via his work on the āBarbieā soundtrack, production and songwriting with such artists as Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Dua Lipa, Adele and the late Amy Winehouse.

In addition to the opening Industry Insights, highlights for the show will include halls showcasing 1,600 exhibitors representing 3,000 brands and more than 200 industry and educational sessions for NAMM member communities, including: retail, brands, professional audio, music technology, live event production, music education, artists, nonprofit and community leaders, college music business students and more.
