Raleigh, 29, exited in the ninth inning of Wednesday’s 4-3, 10-inning loss against the host Houston Astros.
It is the first career IL stint for Raleigh, who smashed 60 homers last season as the American League MVP runner-up.
Raleigh is batting just .161 this season with a .560 OPS, seven home runs and 18 RBIs through 41 games.
The 2025 All-Star and 2024 Gold Glove winner was sidelined for three games from May 2-4 with soreness in his right side.
The Mariners also recalled catcher Jhonny Pareda from Triple-A Tacoma, reinstated Jose Ferrer from the paternity list and optioned fellow left-hander Josh Simpson to Tacoma.
