Madonna’s son David has shown off his stellar style by modeling a silk dress in a recent online video, proving that you don’t need to be a woman to rock a gorgeous gown.
The 15-year-old looked effortlessly chic as he strutted through his family’s mansion, wearing a white silk dress by Mae Couture and a pair of glossy black, rectangular sunglasses. The fitted garment was scribbled with hand-painted black letters and accessorised with colourful bracelets, which added an urban twist to its elegant design.
David polished off the chill vibe by ditching the heels and opting for some white sneakers and white socks, creating a sleek yet comfy outfit for a no-fuss Memorial Weekend. In the 30 second video posted on Madonna’s Instagram account, the glamorous teenager walks confidently through the hallway of his mom’s $6 million Lisbon mansion. The clip, which cuts to selfies of David in his enviable ensemble, plays against the song The Power by Snap! and finishes with the budding fashionista lauding the comfort of his summery wardrobe choice.

“I low-key like wearing like, it’s so freeing, you know what I mean?” he said as he reached the end of his imaginary runway (also known as his kitchen.)
Madonna didn’t hold back on her support for her son, captioning the video, “Confidence is Everything” and adding a fist bump emoji.
The clip was met by an influx of positive comments, with many followers praising David for his impeccable style.
A number of Madonna’s celebrity fans, including Kelly Ripa, also chimed in to share their reaction. The actress and talk show host gave the outfit a top rating, posting five-star emojis to express her approval.
The dress also won the admiration of Younger star Debi Mazar, who was quick to liken the teenager to a world-famous fashion icon.
“Omg I Love him ❤️Look out @naomi,” she wrote, cheekily tagging the woman herself, Naomi Campbell. We’re not sure if the legendary supermodel would see David as competition just yet, but there’s nothing to suggest he won’t be gracing the Fashion Week catwalks someday in the future.
