APPLETON — Local craftswomen Tina Casteris and Jackie Dunham will lead a discussion and demonstration of ways to turn old clothes into functional fashion, Tuesday, Nov. 1, at 6:30 p.m., at the Appleton Library.
This hands-on style workshop will be based on the topics, projects and techniques discussed in Katrina Rodabaugh’s book Mending Matters.
“So bring in your tired pair of jeans, holey sweater or ripped skirts and learn how to keep articles of clothing out of the landfill and back into your wardrobe,” said the Library, in a news release.
This program is a part of “Tuesday Talk.”
Appleton Library is located at 2916 Sennebec Road.
