Battlefield 2042 Season 1 is coming this week, according to leaks, and a new reveal from Twitter account Battlefield Bulletin has shown the two new weapons, and the new gadget, that are coming to the game.
We reported earlier this week that there are set to be three trailers coming out this week, detailing the changes to the multiplayer in Battlefield 2042.
There is set to be a Season 1 reveal trailer, a teaser focusing on a new specialist, and a Battle Pass trailer.
The game’s new season is set to launch later this week, on June 9th, which is this coming Thursday.
Dataminer Temporyal has claimed that there will be stealth helicopters coming to the game, and we have now had a look at the weapons that are going to be available to players.
According to Battlefield Bulletin, one of the weapons will be the BSV-M, a classic Russian rifle that has dual fire modes and an integrated suppressor. You’ll need to reach Battle Pass Tier 17 to unlock the weapon.
Secondly, there is a Smoke Grenade Launcher coming to Battlefield 2042, which launches a canister that forms a large smoke wall on impact. That will allow players to obscure wounded team mates, and potentially build your own cover for movement. You’ll need to reach Battle Pass Tier 23 to unlock it.
And, finally, there is the Ghostmaker R10, which is a crossbow. It’s easy to handle and features an integral lever for fast and effective reloading. It’s a short-range weapon and is deadly and silent. This one will need you to hit Battle Pass Tier 29.
