Lainey Wilson still made room for the sweetest duet of all amid her chart-topping schedule.
The country star, 33, carved out some time to marry Devlin “Duck” Hodges between Stagecoach and the 61st Academy of Country Music Awards, making it official in a romantic ceremony held at Ruskin Cave in Dickson, Tennessee, on May 10.
“I was like, we gotta find a window,” Wilson said while chatting with cohosts Kelly Sutton and Amber Anderson at the ACMs’ red carpet show on Sunday, May 17. “I’m like, as long as I got my phone, my keys, my wallet, my man, I’m good.”
She quipped, “[I’m] always just trying to keep my head screwed on straight.”

The blushing bride has been booked and busy, headlining the Stagecoach Music Festival with a 90-minute set in Indio, California, on April 24, weeks before appearing at the awards show, where she received seven nominations, including Entertainer of the Year.
After becoming husband and wife, Wilson shared that she and Hodges, 30, found their wedding venue by chance and were determined to tie the knot at the picturesque location.

“Duck and I were driving backroads in Tennessee and saw a billboard for The Ruskin Cave,” she told Vogue in a May 14 interview. “Duck said, ‘You wanna get married there?’ I said, ‘Done deal.’ We dropped by, saw the venue and fell in love with the natural beauty of the cave and the simplicity of the property.”
In honor of the special occasion, Wilson ditched her signature bell bottoms for a stunning white gown. She worked with her stylist, Alexandra Mandelkorn, and the Oscar de la Renta team to pull together her dream wedding look featuring tiny Japanese cherry blossoms. “The cherry blossom represents living in the moment, and that’s exactly what we did,” she gushed.

The ceremony was held in front of friends and family on a cobblestone ledge at the foot of a waterfall. Wilson’s friend and mentor Wes Williams served as the officiant.
“You could hear the water trickling down and birds singing, and we had a nice spring breeze,” Lainey fondly recalled. “I arrived in a white horse-drawn carriage and walked down the aisle with my Deddy to join Duck at the altar.”
The newlyweds started dating in 2021 and went public with their relationship two years later at the ACM Awards in May 2023. The “Heart Like a Truck” hitmaker announced her engagement to the retired Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback in February 2025.
